COATING Capabilities
we find solutions.
if someone can’t or won’t coat it – we can develop solutions to get it done.
Utilizing state-of-the-art technology and a wealth of experience, RIE is a proven leader in providing chemical and corrosion protection, abrasion resistance, heat dissipation and dry film lubrication for your parts. Most importantly, each step of the coating process is completed in-house – we do not send your parts out for any portion of the process, allowing us to deliver high-quality solutions to your exact specifications.
Solutions for any surface
RIE applies coatings to a broad range of surfaces and substrates including, but not limited to; carbon steel, stainless steel, zinc plating, aluminum, composites, plastics, rubber, copper, brass, and other ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
One Size Does Not Fit All
Small and Large, Heavy and Light, Handful and Container Size
RIE can process orders as small as one piece or as large as several shipping containers. We have the capacity and flexibility to increase our production capacity quickly. We are willing to take on any challenge and develop solutions for any application.
Engineered Solutions
Our innovative engineering department and forward thinking staff, have developed custom equipment and processes to service all the customer needs.
RIE is an industry leader in coatings fasteners as small as an M1 (and smaller), and also has the ability to coat parts that weight several hundred pounds. RIE has coated bridge bolts that were over twenty feel long for a unique suspension bridge project.
In-House Capabilities
Anodizing improves the durability, color stability, ease of maintenance, aesthetics, cost, and health and safety of aluminum products. RIE specializes in Standard (Type II), Hard (Type III) and Phosphoric Anodizing.
Conversion coatings are chemical treatments applied to the surface of metals to improve their corrosion resistance, enhance paint adhesion, or provide other functional properties. RIE offers Black Oxide, Phosphate and Chromate Conversion Coatings.
Passivation of corrosion resisting steel, sometimes referred to as stainless steel, is a chemical process whereby the surface of the metal is rendered chemically inactive, or passivated, to certain corrosive environments.
Chemical paint stripping is designed to remove paint, finishes, and coatings while also cleaning the underlying surface in a process where the chemical bonds of paint are broken down or the bond between the paint and surface is weakened.
RIE is able to apply paint, powder coating, and specialty coatings like ceramic are different finishing methods used to protect and enhance the appearance of various surfaces.
A specialty process offered by RIE, Plating can be applied for either decorative or cosmetic appearance, or for functionality. We will work with you to determine the best plating solution for your parts and application.
RIE is able to help prepare surfaces for coating through sand and bead blasting on Aluminum and Steel. Sandblasting and bead blasting are abrasive blasting techniques used for surface treatment and preparation.
We offer Zinc Aluminum Flake Coatings, Zinc Aluminum Rich Coatings, Zinc-Rich Coatings, and Zinc-Rich Duplex Coating Systems providing chemical and corrosion protection, abrasion resistance, heat dissipation and dry film lubrication for your parts.
Nondestructive Testing assures structural components and systems perform their function.
